What is a sworn translation of an academic transcript?<\/h3>\n

A grade list<\/a> is an educational document issued by your educational institution (school, college or university). A sworn translation<\/a> is produced by a translator who is listed in the Dutch Register of Sworn Interpreters and Translators (Rbtv) and has been sworn in by a Dutch court. The translator attaches the translation to a copy of the original and adds a stamp, signature and statement. This makes the translation legally valid and accepted by foreign authorities.<\/p>\n

Why a sworn translation rather than an ordinary one?<\/h3>\n

For official purposes, authorities almost always ask for a sworn translation<\/a>as standard. An ordinary or automated translation has no legal status and is not accepted for admission, enrolment or a diploma evaluation.
