A sworn translation is an official, legally valid translation of a formal document that is produced exclusively by a sworn translator may be translated. A sworn translator has always been sworn in by a Dutch court and is also registered with one or more courts in the Netherlands.
A sworn translation You need a sworn translation for documents that need to be translated into another language for official bodies (both in the Netherlands and abroad). You will usually be informed by the body itself whether or not the translation of your official document needs to be certified.
