What is a certified translation of a policy?

A sworn translation is a translation produced by a translator registered in the Dutch Register of Sworn Interpreters and Translators (Rbtv). This translator is sworn in by a Dutch court. The translation of your policy comes with a stamp, signature and a statement from the translator. With this the sworn translator declares that the translation is a faithful rendering of your original insurance policy, which makes the document legally valid for official use.
